Sifalo Pay is a revolutionary payment gateway that enables your customers to pay with whatever payment method they have while you get paid with your preferred payment platform. By just installing this plugin you get access to 20+ payment services. #### Checkout compatibility This plugin works with the **classic WooCommerce checkout** (shortcode-based). WooCommerce Cart/Checkout **blocks** are not supported yet. ### Caching compatibility Sifalo Pay works with caching plugins if you exclude WooCommerce dynamic pages and do not cache logged-in users or cart sessions. Payment API calls and order updates run on the server and are not affected by page cache. Problems appear when checkout HTML, checkout fragments, or JS/CSS are cached or combined incorrectly. No Sifalo-specific cache rules are required beyond normal WooCommerce best practices. #### How to prevent issues 1. Enable WooCommerce-aware caching. In your cache plugin, turn on any built-in WooCommerce or e-commerce mode (WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, WP-Optimize, and similar plugins usually have this). 2. Never cache these URLs. Add them to “Never cache URLs” / “Cache exclusions”: 3. * /cart/ * /checkout/ * /my-account/ * order-received (thank-you pages) * Any URL containing ?add-to-cart= * Any URL containing ?sid= (card payment return from Sifalo) 4. Use your real permalink structure, for example /checkout/, /en/checkout/, or custom slugs. 5. Exclude WooCommerce cookies. Do not serve cached pages when these cookies exist: 6. * woocommerce_items_in_cart * woocommerce_cart_hash * wp_woocommerce_session_* 7. Also enable “Do not cache for logged-in users” (or the equivalent setting). 8. Exclude checkout from JS/CSS optimization. In minify/combine/defer settings, exclude: 9. * sifalo-pay-public.js * sifalo-pay-public.css * jquery (if checkout breaks after enabling defer) 10. Clear all caches after changes. Purge page cache, object cache (if used), and CDN cache. Test in a private/incognito window. 11. Smoke test: 12. * Add a product to cart. * Open checkout and confirm Sifalo methods appear (ZAAD, EVC, eDahab, Premier Wallet, Cards). * Confirm the Sifalo logo shows above the methods and “Secured by Sifalo Pay” styling loads. * Place a test order (sandbox/staging). * For cards: confirm the return URL updates the order status (not stuck on pending due to a stale page). #### How to fix checkout if caching breaks it 1. Confirm it is cache-related. Temporarily disable the caching plugin (or disable page cache). If checkout works, continue below. 2. Purge everything: page cache, object cache, opcode cache, and CDN. 3. Apply the URL exclusions listed above. 4. Apply the cookie and logged-in user exclusions listed above. 5. Disable JS/CSS optimization on checkout. Test with minify off, then re-enable one feature at a time. 6. Retest in an incognito window. Place wallet and card test orders. 7. If still broken, open browser DevTools Network and confirm sifalo-pay-public.js returns 200 on checkout. Search the page source for sifaloPayCheckout. Check the Console for JavaScript errors. 8. Fallback: exclude the entire site from page cache until the rules are correct. The payment flow must never be cached. #### Symptoms and likely fixes * No payment methods at checkout — checkout page is fully cached. Exclude /checkout/ and disable cache for users with cart cookies. * Sifalo methods show but no logo or green styling — JS/CSS not loaded or over- minified. Exclude Sifalo assets from combine/defer, hard-refresh, and purge cache. * “Processing…” overlay never appears — sifalo-pay-public.js is blocked or stale. Exclude it from minify/defer and check the browser console. * Wrong cart total or empty payment section — cached checkout fragment. Exclude checkout and disable fragment/cache for AJAX checkout. * Card payment completes but the order stays pending — thank-you page is cached, so ?sid= verify is skipped. Exclude order-received and URLs with ?sid=. * Works when logged in, broken for guests — guest page cache is too aggressive. Exclude cart cookies; do not cache checkout for guests with items in cart. * Works after clearing cache, then breaks again — checkout-like pages have a long cache TTL. Add URL exclusions permanently; do not rely on manual purge only. #### Settings for popular cache plugins WP Rocket: * Settings Cache Never Cache URL(s): add checkout, cart, and my-account patterns. * Settings Advanced Rules Never Cache Cookies: WooCommerce cookies listed above. * Settings File Optimization: exclude sifalo-pay-public.js and sifalo-pay- public.css. * Enable WooCommerce integration if shown. LiteSpeed Cache: * Cache Excludes Do Not Cache URIs: same URL list as above. * Cache Excludes Do Not Cache Cookies: WooCommerce cookies listed above. * Page Optimization: exclude Sifalo JS/CSS from combine/minify. W3 Total Cache: * Page Cache Advanced Never cache the following pages: checkout, cart, my-account. * Minify: ignore scripts/styles containing sifalo-pay. SiteGround Optimizer, Hostinger, and similar host caches: * Use the host “E-commerce” or “WooCommerce” preset. * Manually add checkout exclusions if they are not automatic. #### What not to do * Do not full-page cache /checkout/ for performance. Use object cache or a CDN for static assets only. * Do not cache pages with ?key= (WooCommerce order key) or ?sid= (Sifalo card return). * Do not assume that caching that works for a blog also works for the shop. ## Installation 1. Install using the WordPress built-in Plugin installer, or extract the .zip file and drop the content into the wp-content/plugins/ directory of your WordPress installation. 2. Activate the plugin via the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress. 3. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Sifalo Pay tab to enter your API credentials. 4. Your API User and API Key can be found in your Sifalo Pay dashboard at https:// pay.sifalo.com/business/merchant/api 5. Choose Live or Staging environment, then save.
