Upload the plugin files to the `/wp-content/plugins/debanics` directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress. 3. Go to ‘Debanics’ in the admin menu to use. ## FAQ ### Does this plugin work on all hosts? It works on most hosts, but your `wp-config.php` file must be writable by PHP for toggling to work. ### Is it safe to use on production? We recommend only enabling debug mode on staging or development sites. Debug mode can expose sensitive information and impact performance. ### What permissions do I need? The plugin requires write access to wp-config.php. I can now easily turn the debug log on/off without modifying the wp-config file.Let me share a past experience. I tried to disable the debug log display on one of my clients’ sites, but unfortunately I had missed the file’s formatting pattern and I didn’t notice it. After saving the file, the whole site crashed! I had to fix it via the hosting’s file manager. Though it was fixable, but I had to invest more time in it. Now, I can easily do this without having the fear of breaking a site just for my formatting mistakes! Thanks for building this plugin!
